How did you come to have a career as a cleaner?
After lockdowns ended last year, I was looking for a job with great flexibility so I could prioritise time with my son. One day while scrolling through facebook I came across the Cleaning Fairies. The more I read about Katies business and what she had to offer the more I connected with it. I put through a job application form right away and within a couple of minutes I was on the phone to Katie. She was the most loveliest person, and she understood that I was a single mum, offering me work that would suit my circumstances. What really caught my attention was about the products Katie. They are all made from pure natural essential oils made personally by Katie herself, unlike the supermarket chemical products that have that strong nasty smell,. The products Katie makes are beyond amazing. They don't irritate your skin or harm your health in any way. The feedback I get back from my clients from the scents makes the job so satisfying because I know they are happy.
How long have you been working in the industry?
I started contracting for Katie 18 months ago and since then I have become a trainer, a role in which I teach and supervise potential cleaners who want to learn about the business or are already current cleaners who want to gain more knowledge about Katies amazing cleaning products. I also took on the role of Warehouse Manager, organising stock control for the girls and stock take of the facility. I am so grateful Katie trusted me with these roles as I have met so many wonderful people along the way, learning from them just as much as they have from me. Now I am currently working as a professional sole cleaner running my own business.
What is your speciality as a cleaner?
I especially love vacuuming, there are always so many places that gets build up of dust that you don't notice (behind and under couches/drawers/beds etc) it also keeps you more active on your feet. I also love cleaning any thing that is stainless steel with the detailer, it is so satisfying how much it sparkles.
What is your favourite Cleaning Fairies product and what do you love about it?
I love the glass and sparkle and mint sanitiser the most, it is so perfect for glass shower screens and it smells amazing as you're getting ready to hop into the shower after a long day.

Hello, I'm Linda based in Cranbourne West, I'm a single mum and I absolutely love having a job with flexible hours so I still have time to spend with my son. I have a big passion for cleaning and helping other people. I know how hard it is to maintain and keep your house clean and tidy after working a long day and juggling kids so nothing makes me more happier then getting feedback from clients telling me I have helped make things so much easier for them. Before I came on board to work with Katie, I had no professional cleaning experience but since then I have learnt so much from Katie and how to use her products, it took me a while to build up my confidence but with Katie's support I'm now off on my own and I can honestly say I am absolutely thriving and I owe it all to Katie for giving me a chance.
